We are delighted to announce that bookings are now open for the next round of book clubs hosted at our State Library store. The State Library (SLV) book club was first launched at the beginning of this year and has been a great success.
Non-fiction book club
The Readings State Library Non-fiction Book Club meets on the first Wednesday of every month from 6pm–8pm. The first book club pick for this new semester will be Angela Saini’s Superior: The Return of Race Science. The first session will be held on Wednesday 7 August.

Queer book club
The SLV Queer Book Club meets on the second Wednesday of every month from 6pm–8pm. The first book club pick for this new semester will be Giovanni’s Room by James Baldwin. The first session will be held on Wednesday 14 August.

Fiction book club (1)
The SLV Fiction Book Club (1) meets on the fourth Tuesday of every month from 6pm–8pm. The first book club pick for this new semester will be Baby by Analeese Jochems. The first session will be held on Tuesday 27 August.

The SLV Fiction Book Club (2) meets on the fourth Wednesday of the month from 6pm–8pm. This book club will also be looking at Baby by Analeese Jochems for their first session, and they will meet on Wednesday 28 August.
