Readings Foundation 2013 Grants are now open

We’re excited to announce that applications for The Readings Foundation 2013 grants are now open.

The Readings Foundation was established by Readings Managing Director Mark Rubbo in 2009 to support Victorian individuals and organisations that wish to further the development of literacy, community work and the arts. Readings donates 10% of its overall profit to The Readings Foundation each year.

This is a wonderful opportunity for individuals and organisations with Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status to be able to bring their creative or literacy-related projects to life that otherwise would never have had the funds.

In 2012, Grant Recipients included The Social Studio for their ESL literacy and training initiative aimed at refugee youths working in fashion and design, the Wheeler Centre Hot Desk Fellowships, and many more wonderful ideas and projects.

Application forms and guidelines can be downloaded here and must be lodged by 5pm on October 31, 2012.

Final decisions about projects will be made by the Board of Trustees by Friday 30 November, 2012.
