Last week saw the launch of several terrific books, three of which were top sellers last week. This includes David Carlin’s biography of professional contortionist Sosina Wogayehu (The Abyssinian Contortionist), Ilka Tampke’s thrilling debut set in Iron-Age Britain on the cusp of Roman invasion (Skin) and SJ Finn’s courageous and timely second novel (Down To The River).
