We’re happy to see that nine of the 10 titles listed here are from Australian authors.

This includes memoirs from Saroo Brierley (Lion) and Clementine Ford (Fight Like a Girl); non-fiction works from historian Rebe Taylor (Into the Heart of Tasmania), polymath Barry Jones (Knowledge Courage Leadership ), and financial advisor Scott Pape (The Barefoot Investor); novels from Jane Harper (The Dry) and Lia Hills (The Crying Place); and a true crime about one of the most bizarre cults in modern history from Chris Johnston and Rosie Jones (The Family).

We’re not surprised to see Jasper Jones, Craig Silvey’s beloved 2009 coming-of-age tale, featured here as well. The film adaptation is due for release this week and we are extremely excited.
