Barack Obama’s presidential memoirs, A Promised Land, easily took out first place on our bestsellers list for the second week running, with Sir David Attenborough’s legacy-defining work A Life on Our Planet sitting in number two position. Other big-picture non-fiction from veteran writers among our top sellers include Barry Jones’s What Is to Be Done and Don Watson’s Watsonia: A Writing Life.
There’s also a decent dose of crime fiction in our top ten this week, with Jane Harper’s The Survivors, first released in September, proving itself to be a real stayer, along with cosy crime books Death in Daylesford by Kerry Greenwood and The Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman.
And finally, if you’re in the market for a good cookbook, take a cue from all the people who have snapped up Ottolenghi FLAVOUR and To Asia, with Love - these two have been popping onto our bestsellers consistently for months.
