Some brand-new titles have popped up on our list of bestselling children’s and young adult books for last week.

In junior fiction, there’s a new Hot Dog story from very funny duo, Anh Do and Dan McGuiness, as well as the first book in a new series all about tiny, talking, glitter-twinkly, flying horses…

Looking to middle fiction, Liz Pichon has released another adventure with Tom Gates, Family, Friends and Furry Creatures, and we absolutely adore The Wayward Witch and the Feelings Monster – a new heartfelt offering from bestselling author Sally Rippin.

Meanwhile, YA readers have a new Cassandra Clare to devour. Lord of Shadows is the second book of The Dark Artifices series. And we’re thrilled to see Gabrielle Williams’s new YA novel, My Life as a Hashtag, listed here as well.

Williams works as a bookseller at Readings Malvern, and is the author of several other YA novels including the much-loved The Guy, the Girl, the Artist and His Ex. You can read about how she approached her latest novel here.
