  4. Wonder by R.J. Palacio

  8. Friday Barnes Book 4: No Rules by R.A. Spratt
  9. Brave as Can be: A Book of Courage by Jo Witek and Christine Roussey
  10. The Bolds by Julian Clary

Two charming books from author/illustrator team Jo Witek and Christine Roussey have made it to our bestsellers list this week. Both books are beautifully-designed with colourful illustrations and each takes a thoughtful look at topics that can be difficult to talk about with young children – In My Heart is about feelings and Brave as Can be is about fears.

Other bestselling kids books include a hilarious read for 6+ from British comedian Julian Clary (The Bolds); a jam-packed book of maths, puzzles and games from Australian comedian Adam Spencer (Adam Spencer’s Enormous Book of Numbers), and a new Friday Barnes mystery from R.A. Spratt (No Rules).

And YA readers are snaffling up copies of Rick Yancey’s dystopian thriller, The 5th Wave, which has recently made it to the cinemas. (You can find more children’s and YA books being adapted for the screen in 2016 here.)
