Picture books are dominating the bestseller list this week, with the new Adam Goodes again claiming the coveted top spot, closely followed by a story about Claris the fashionable mouse that features at a special price in our Summer Reading Guide. Claris also appears in the sixth spot on this week’s list, with the fifth story in the series set at the palace of Versailles.

Other picture books include a funny story giving kids the lowdown on starting school and one of our favourites of 2021, the beautiful book about resilience by Davina Bell.

The only young adult title on our list is the latest Karen McManus thriller, a fun summer read for those who like a good murder mystery.
