Welcome to 2022 everyone and I hope its a great year of reading for you!

Starting the new year, we’ve got at the top of our list the latest thriller from US writer Karen McManus. It’s a fast-paced, action-packed summer read. Also on the list is Mcmanus’ first thriller, that has recently featured on Stan as a TV series.

The latest treehouse book in the perenially popular series by local superstars Andy Griffiths and Terry Denton is still going strong, as well as the latest release in Anh Do’s bestselling Wolf Girl series.

It’s also wonderful to see two of our favourite picture books of 2021 still featuring strongly on the list: the beautiful book explaining terra nullius very simply by Adam Goodes, and the lovely picture book about resilience by Davina Bell.
