Growing Up Queer in Australia

To celebrate the release of the essential new anthology Growing Up Queer in Australia, Readings will donate $2 from every sale of this book in the month of August to Minus 18, an organisation thatchampions rights for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer youth Australia-wide.

Black Inc., the book’s publisher, has generously agreed to match our final donation, so Minus 18 will receive a total of $4 for each copy of the book sold at Readings in August. To find out more about the amazing work Minus 18 do, visit their website here.

You are also invited to come and celebrate the Melbourne launch of Growing Up Queer in Australia, with MC Geraldine Hickey, Benjamin Law, and readings from contributors.
