The heart of the Global Book Crawl is the joy of discovery: wandering through bookshops, getting lost in conversations, and finding titles you didn’t know you needed.
Experience that thrill by taking part in The Melbourne Book Crawl between Monday 20 and Sunday 26 April and exploring our city’s literary gems.
The Melbourne Book Crawl was a huge success last year, and this year promises to be even better, with nearly forty shops participating across the city, and wonderful prizes up for grabs!
How to Crawl
Pick up a passport from any of our seven participating Readings shops or another participating bookshop listed here. We are incredibly lucky to have so many wonderful independent bookshops in our city, therefore the shops have been split into two zones – see which zone you're in here. We have three Readings shops in Zone 1, and four in Zone 2.
Once you have your passport, start visiting as many shops as you can between 20-26 April. Have your passport stamped at each shop and enjoy discovering new independent bookshops around Melbourne!
