Celebrate Record Store Day with us!

We’d love you to come help us celebrate Record Store Day this Saturday 18 April!

We’re offering 20% off all vinyl until the end of April. Please note, the offer only applies to vinyl currently in stock in our shops, and is not available online.

If you have young vinyl lovers in your family, our St Kilda shop is hosting a special music-themed story time this Saturday morning at 10.30am. Bring the kids (aged 2-7) along for a rollicking reading of Fish Jam by Kylie Howarth and Olivia Forms a Band by Ian Falconer. Afterwards, you can chat with our music specialists and browse our St Kilda shop’s extensive vinyl collection.

If you’re not sure where to start, here’s a list of our top ten selling vinyl of the year:

  1. Sometimes I Sit And Think Sometimes I Just Sit by Courtney Barnett
  2. Gon’ Boogaloo by C.W. Stoneking
  3. I Love You, Honeybear by Father John Misty
  4. Lost In The Dream by War On Drugs
  5. Shadows In The Night by Bob Dylan
  6. Carrie and Lowell by Sufjan Stevens
  7. Our Love by Caribou
  8. The Merri Soul Sessions by Paul Kelly
  9. Girls In Peacetime Want To Dance by Belle and Sebastian
  10. Range Anxiety by Twerps

Conceived in 2007, Record Store Day is a world-wide event that celebrates the unique culture of the record store. You can learn more about it here.
