Bestselling children's and YA books this week

  1. Barefoot Kids by Scott Pape
  2. The Sugarcane Kids and the Red-Bottomed Boat by Charlie Archbold
  3. Off to the Market by Alice Oehr
  4. The Bookseller's Apprentice by Amelia Mellor
  5. Runt by Craig Silvey
  6. A Tiny Light by Alison Lester
  7. The Jolly Christmas Postman by Janet & Allen Ahlberg
  8. Come Together: Things Every Aussie Kid should know about the First Peoples by Isaiah Firebrace
  9. Maybe by Kobi Yamada
  10. The Baddies by Julia Donaldson

Our top two spots are held by the same two titles as last week – our Readings Prize Children's Book winner and the new Scott Pape finance book for kids. In third place is the beautiful picture book about a trip to the market and all the fresh produce you can find there. It is simply stunning!

Also in the list are the new Craig Silvey book set in a small country town and the new book by Amelia Mellor set in Paddy's Markets in 19th century Melbourne.

As we get closer to Christmas, the classic christmas book by the Ahlbergs also remains a firm favourite.
