To celebrate the writers and readers of Stonnington, a series of free talks, workshops and panel discussions will be held at each of the city’s libraries from 15 to 18 November.

The stories of Stonnington will jump from the pages during the city’s four-day [untitled] literary festival next month. With door prizes at every event, the exciting program includes:

A talk on how to embrace living large in small places by author and interior designer, Bronnie Masefau.
A guide to unearthing the history of your house by the Stonnington History Centre.
A comic-making workshop for children aged five to 12 years.
A talk by journalist and biographer Mike Rosel about one of Prahran’s unknown warriors.
An afternoon of readings by actor Terence Donovan, poet Peter Rose and authors Sofie Laguna, Paddy O’Reilly, and Fiona Wood.
A lively panel discussion with award-winning Australian literature reviewer and blogger Lisa Hill, and local authors Toni Jordan, Helen Brown, Fiona Wood and Meme McDonald.
The [untitled] literary festival will be officially opened at Prahran Library from 7pm on Thursday, 15 November, with special guest Shane Maloney, author of the Murray Whelan crime series.
