Please note: This is an online event.

Join us for an evening with Karina Kilmore and Nicola West in Conversation.

Set in Kiama, a bucolic coastal town south of Sydney, Catch Us the Foxes was inspired by local urban legends, real crimes in the Illawarra (like the torture and murder of the former Wollongong major in 1998) and other true crime stories such as the death of Elisa Lam. Catch Us the Foxes is led by a dogged aspiring journalist called Marlowe ‘Lo’ Robertson. Lo has just completed her honours thesis on Ivan Milat and wrote to the killer for her project - this is based on Nicola’s own correspondence with Milat during her HSC. Nicola was initially writing a memoir about a decades-long medical journey that saw her undergo 40 surgeries, 71 lumbar punctures and experimental neurosurgery. But, inspired by all things crime and cults, she found thriller writing far more therapeutic. This is the result.

This event is free to attend but bookings are essential.
