Meet the creators of Eyes Too Dry
Readings Carlton, Woiwurrung Country, 309 Lygon St, Carlton, Victoria, 3053
Eyes Too Dry is a graphic memoir about heavy feelings, queer friendship and the therapeutic possibilities of making comics. It is a true story written and drawn by two friends, Alice Chipkin and Jessica Tavassoli, that covers two years, two continents and countless conversations in between.
Come and hear Alice and Jessica discuss their experiences self-publishing, why they’re drawn to talking about the hard stuff and their belief in the power of comics with writer and founder of The Lifted Brow, Ronnie Scott.
Free, but please book here.
This event is part of the Emerging Writers’ Festival, which runs from Wednesday 14 June to Friday 23 June. Find the full Festival program here.
