Julia Busuttil Nishimura’s cooking is influenced by her Maltese heritage, the distinctive ebb and flow of Melbourne’s seasons, and by her time spent living in Tuscany, where she learned the joys of the Italian kitchen. We are delighted to have her talking about her new cookbook Around the Table (and signing copies) alongside chatter about writing and creating.

With recipes ranging from quick, flavourful meals for busy weeknights to simple indulgences for summer feasts, her latest book Around the Table perfectly matches dishes to time and place. Each recipe has a personal meaning - Mediterranean classics from Italy and Malta, and Japanese dishes Julia has learned from her husband, Nori.
