Wonderous Beings

Laine Wheatley, Maryelaine de Good-Wheatley

Strolling through a park, the young girl sees unexpected beings and discovers many different kinds of friendships. First, she is surprised, seeing a moose straddled high in a tree. Seeing a moose in a tree makes her laugh and laugh. Inviting the young girl to discover other beings, the Moose calls her, Wonderous Being , purposely including her equal to all others. In the old fashion spelling of Wonderous, MaryElaine felt the cadence of the syllables provided a more magical feeling to the poem. An activity section is provided for affirmations and vision-style photos or drawings.
