Spaghetti as an art medium wouldn’t be every parent’s choice – but oh, what fun in the hands of a young child, with their baby sibling and even Nana joining in! In Deborah Niland’s new picture book, creativity knows no bounds when a child creates and explores a wiggly, edible alphabet.
My Spaghetti ABC is a colourful riot of saucy strands and rhyming messiness. Kids will love it, but maybe the book should have come with a warning on the cover saying, ‘Don’t Try This at Home’. Then again, maybe it would be fun to try! For ages 2+.
