John Wade is a Vietnam vet, and a man in crisis. He’s spent years building a successful political career that’s now being derailed by revelations about his past as a soldier in Vietnam. He loses the election and retreats to a small cabin near a Minnesota lake - from which his wife, Kathy, mysteriously disappears.

Was foul play involved or did Kathy simply decide to leave?
