When Love Returns

In the final novel of Kim Vogel Sawyer’s contemporary Mennonite series, Suzanne must face Alexa’s journey for answers to her questions about her birth as well as adapt to life back in Kansas. With the hospital where she’d worked for fifteen years closing, Suzanne Zimmerman decides to return to the town where she grew up. Living in Arborville again allows her to reconnect with the siblings she left behind years earlier as well as the man who had courted her when she was a teenager. As they find themselves being drawn together once more, Paul suggests starting over. Alexa, the girl Suzanne raised as her daughter, is thrilled to see romance bloom but Paul’s son, Danny, is not happy about it. He gives his dad and Suzanne more trouble than either anticipate. And the two are desperately trying to make peace with the baby girl they didn’t have the chance to raise, and focus on the future. Alexa also embarks on a journey to discover her birth family.
