A one-hour walking tour beginning at — and looping back to — Readings Hawthorn, exploring Glenferrie Road’s old shopfronts, barely-there signage, and the stories of aspiration, commerce, and reinvention they contain. This walk reveals how a seemingly familiar shopping strip holds layers of forgotten history — hiding in plain sight.
