Come along to The School of Life’s Open Day where you can find out more about Melbourne’s first Summer Term and take a more enlightened approach to this national holiday - our take on the fair dinkum Aussie BBQ.

Rohan Anderson will cook and prepare the menu from food he’s hunted, grown and bartered near Ballarat. As well as sustainable food for thought, there’ll be a Conversation Menu exploring some of the thornier and funnier sides of being Australian.

The Australian Future Foods Lab, exploring the revival of Australian native foods, will be on site offering their unique sensory experience.
