In the manner of Q&A, join our panel as they discuss their own experiences to this topic. Using a nominated book by each of our panel members and, led by ABC’s Raphel Epstein this lively discussion will aim to shed light on which came first- the egg or the chicken, the faith or the practice?
Joining us on the panel will be:
- Martin Roth - famous for his yearly Top Stocks books and his new novel Prophets and Loss.
- Kate Brennan - Rhode Scholar at Oxford, amongst other notable achievements including establishing a community swimming and public health education program and with sponsorship from Macquarie Bank Sports and Speedo trained Indigenous women as swimming coaches as part of a program to re-engage teenagers from the Ngukurr community in Arnhem Land.
- Howard Raggart- an Australian architect, member of the firm Ashton Raggatt McDougall, and best known for the design of the National Museum of Australia, opened in 2001.
- Justin Denholm - Research Fellow for the Victorian Infections Diseases Service at the RMH. Involved in the clinical management research and public health response to the Victorian Swine Flu pandemic
- Geoff Kennedy - Geoff has worked on many community arts projects with people from diverse ethnic backgrounds, of many ages and with a variety of life experiences and health concerns, including Carlton Estate Residents Association; Campbell Turnbull Library, West Brunswick; the Carlton Baths; Carlton Housing Estates Residents’ Services; the City of Melbourne; Deaf Association Victoria; the Kensington Management Committee and Multicultural Arts Victoria.
