Doyle, author of Miles Franklin Award-longlisted Echolalia, posits the grief-stricken BB, who moves to a condemned apartment in an uncanny beachside enclave at the edge of a once-familiar city. Her plan? To write, party, swim, and rediscover the person she was before finding, and losing, the love of her life.
