Join Readings for 24-hours celebrating books, culture and community

Pull up a pew and plonk down with some plonk and poesy for a night of Big Verse.

With an all-star line-up of poets including Evelyn Araluen, Andy Jackson, Toby Fitch and Ender Başkan, along with poetry and music collaboration Panda Wong and Hannah Wu of Lotus Threads, Big Verse promises to transport you through the rambunctious and politically charged world of contemporary Australian poetry.

Expect clicks. Expect claps. Expect cheers. This event proves that poetry is back – big time.

The Readings pop-up bookshop will be open at this event. Drinks will be available for purchase at the bar.
