Sam Coley joins us online to talk about his absorbing debut novel, State Highway One, which won the 2017 Richell Prize for Emerging Writers. When Alex’s parents die in a shock accident, he returns to New Zealand where his twin sister Amy awaits him. In an attempt to reconnect, the two siblings set off on a journey down State Highway One. This is the story of a homecoming, a road trip, and of what it means to be family.

Coley will discuss the novel with his publisher, Robert Watkins.
