Mark Raphael Baker’s The Fiftieth Gate, his seminal book on his parents’ experience during the Holocaust, is an Australian classic. 20 years later, he follows it with another compelling memoir, Thirty Days, about his long marriage to wife Kerryn, who he recently lost to cancer.

Mark is director of the Australian Centre for Jewish Civilisation and associate professor of Holocaust and Genocide Studies in the School at Monash University. He’ll talk about writing memoir and commemorating loss.

Free, but please book here.
