Listen in to a lively conversation between Australian author and public intellectual Clive Hamilton AM and investigative journalist Nick McKenzie. Hamilton’s 2018 book, Silent Invasion, was a sobering examination of the mounting threats to democratic freedoms Australians have for too long taken for granted. Hidden Hand is his follow-up to this work; together with Mareike Ohlberg, Hamilton investigates the Chinese Communist Party’s threats to democratic freedoms and national sovereignty across Europe and North America.

This event commences online at 6.30pm using the video conferencing platform Zoom.
