Choice Words on International Women’s Day

Church of All Nations, 180 Palmerston Street, Carlton

To acknowledge International Women’s Day and the reality of women’s lives and their own freedom to choose, we are thrilled to bring you a panel of important voices straight from the newly released Choice Words: A Collection of Writing about Abortion. Among those joining us for this event supported by the Victorian Women’s Trust will be editor Louise Swinn, social commentator and writer Clementine Ford, and contributors Amy Gray and Monica Dux.

As all proceeds of the book are going to the Marie Stopes Choice Fund.

Tickets are $5 per person and bookings are essential. Please book here.

Celebrating 50 years of Readings

Readings is celebrating our 50 year history in 2019. To honour the stories that have emerged from the books on our shelves, we are hosting 50 special events that illustrate passion, artistry and Australian literature. We hope you will join us.
