Fifty years since it was first published, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang finally has a sequel! Frank Cottrell Boyce has given new life to the famous flying car created by Ian Fleming in his one and only children’s story. Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Flies Again has the same level of fun, quirkiness and adventure as the original.
The story centres on the Tooting family and their plans to travel around the world in an old camper van that has been refitted with a new engine. The family’s plans to visit the pyramids and go in search of lost cities are interrupted when the engine decides to lead them on a different course. The Tooting family are led on a wild adventure as the engine tries to locate and restore the original Chitty, piece by piece.
Recommended for ages eight and up.
