If it aint broke don’t fix it dude. Luckily for us Franz Ferdinand has adhered to that way of thinking in constructing their second album, following the worldwide delirium that ensued after the debut offering from the Glasgow quartet. Although the boys have included a couple of slower tracks to keep us guessing, such as the piano-driven ‘Eleanor Put Your Boots On’, the album’s main fare is tracks like ‘The Fallen’, which feature the band’s signature angular, upbeat guitar rock to keep the kids on the dance floor.
