The pressure to come up with a quality album following the\nmonumental success of a first release is often overwhelming for\nartists.So instead of trying to outdo her Acoustic Soul debut,\nIndia has taken a detour onto a mellow path with a lyric rich and\nsomewhat folky meets funky collection.There is a hint of Stevie\nWonder‘s Talking Book era of tight production of beats and breaks\nwith India’s velvet voice dripping honey-like throughout.

Fortunately she resists the urge to go all out vocally and\nbecome another slave to the radio hit list. An accomplished\nguitarist, producer, singer songwriter who has shown by this cd she\nis here to stay on her own terms. Very satisfying indeed.
