The opening\nviolin intervals of Wallfahrtslied are chilling in their clean and\nprecise execution. The choir is strong and well drilled and one is\ncarried away by the over all force of the piece.

The central work, Orient and Occident is really a tour de force\nof controlled passion, finally breaking loose in a breathless\nclimax in the 4th movement. Well rounded out with Como Cierva\nSedienta, one feels taken on a slow and gentle journey full of\nanticipation to see a stunning sunrise and allowed to ponder its\nmagnificence on the quiet journey home.
