Small Change For Stuart by Lissa Evans
This is a
ripper little adventure that has magic, mystery and family
intrigue.
Stuart and his family have moved back to his dad’s hometown where he finds out that a great uncle, whose disappearance has never been solved, was also a magician.
Almost immediately Stuart stumbles on clues to his vanishing but annoyingly is intercepted by three neighbouring sisters, one who turns out to be intrusively persistent and a surprisingly good detective, even for a girl!
Quirky, funny and baffling, Small Change For Stuart is a marvellous read for ages 8–12.
