In Matthew 1:23 we read, "'Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel, ' which is translated, 'God with us.'" Jesus came as "God with us," but then after 33 years He returned to heaven. Does that mean there is now a void of God in the earth? John 16:7 says, "Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you." How could it possibly be advantageous for Jesus, the person of God that had come to be "with us," to go away? Before he left He told His disciples, (John 14:16) "And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever-" There would not be a void of God in the Earth. Jesus was God with us, but He said there will still be God with you... God the Holy Spirit. Jesus was with us, but Holy Spirit will be with you and in you.

This one sent to be with us is no stranger to life on Earth. God the Word came in a physical body named "Jesus," and Holy Spirit worked with Him. Now God the Holy Spirit has come to live in your body. 1 Corinthians 6:19 says, "Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit [who is] in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?" Just as He partnered with Jesus, He is here to partner with you.
