The weres are in constant danger of being exposed. There is always the chance that a human will see them transform when they are out to run and hunt. They are in need of friends and they are in need of joining the other supernaturals in maintaining their secrecy. They join the International Society for the Protection of Supernaturals and experience brotherhood with the rest of the secrt world. They are no longer outsiders relying only on their pack or pride mates. They have learned how to cooperate.
