After the death of his mother 17 year old Valador Spellcast sets off to learn magic and take his place as the next wizard king. Along the way Valador finds himself at the wrong end of Uther Pendragon's wrath . When Valador learns of a prophecy that he was meant to lead the cryptid race to safety he fears he may not be able to stop Uther from exterminating the entire cryptid race.
