The Vac-Plat

Dan Caracal

According to Wolfzang, our mysterious new acquaintance, humans possess the capacity for essential mathematics. Our minds can unlock solutions to cure diseases, create moving holograms, achieve multiverse travel, and eradicate poverty. However, many of us accept our daily lives as the only reality, defending our cultural norms reflexively and emotionally. If our fundamental understandings are clouded by inaccuracies perpetuated within our society, how can we gain a true understanding of the world? How can we foster exponential innovation and discovery by thinking differently? How can we transform into a race that can effortlessly unveil the unknown? Wolfzang hails from a technologically advanced society, situated in a distant location, with a specific set of models and principles shaping their existence. His group asserts that refined notions about the mind and behavior serve as the foundation for significant progress in a species capable of multiverse travel. He highlights historical instances, such as when we believed the earth was flat or used an earth-centered model for the solar system, where our answers were built on shaky foundations. During our Analytical Field Explorations, Wolfzang reveals that societal structures can be traced back to the majority's perception of the mind and behavior. Despite initial resistance, his logic begins to resonate. If our beliefs about the mind and behavior are flawed, and science and innovation begin with self-perception, we are destined to uncover only incorrect answers. Failure to reflect on our emotions leads to emotional decision-making. Without understanding our true nature, we risk depleting planetary resources or succumbing to the perils of advancing technology. Transformative technologies like AI, built on flawed views of the mind and inaccurate perceptions, will quickly become pathogenic. Over time, we appreciate Wolfzang's insights, which elucidate our cultural differences and unique approaches to science. Initially seeming peculiar, his ideas challenge ingrained customs and traditions. He questions human hierarchies and proposes alternative ways to create systems that subtract the need for influential leaders, often driven by concealed emotions and incentives. Wolfzang is not an anarchist but believes that our embraced meritocracy perpetuates wrong answers, excluding capable thinkers from crucial opportunities. In Chronicle One, he introduces a vastly different worldview, suggesting that aligning ourselves with beings capable of multiverse travel can lead to profound scientific achievements and deeper happiness through a new way of thinking.
