Kachchh is characterized by its vast size and semi-arid climate with add-on of soil and water salinity, extreme temperatures and livelihood issues. These crops have not only opened up new avenues for bolstering farm incomes but are slated to positively contribute to the nutritional and ecological well-being of the district.
