Se pretende despertar el interes por el problema del manejo de los desechos solidos en zonas protegidas, donde se desarrolla el turismo; toda vez que cada dia se intensifica mas la actividad turistica en distintos puntos de la geografia nacional, vulnerando nuestros ecosistemas tropicales con este tipo de contaminacion. Surge entonces la educacion ambiental como en metodo importante y eficaz de solucionar los problemas de contaminacion, permitiendo entonces el desarrollo de la actividad turistica en balance y armonia con el medio ambiente local
