Now for the first time we have Alice in the Aromanian language. Aromanian, also known as Macedo-Romanian or Vlach, is an Eastern Romance language which shares many features with modern Romanian, though while Romanian has been influenced by the Slavic languages, Aromanian has been more influenced by Greek. The author was the genius Lewis Carroll, whose real name was Charles Lutwidge Dodgson (1832-1898). He studied at Oxford, afterwards lecturing in mathematics and logic there. He was one of the early portrait photographers in Europe, beginning in 1856. The present edition was prepared for the 2015 celebration of the 150th anniversary of the first publication of the book.
