Margery Blandon is an elderly widow with a fondness for cross-stitching. She has three selfish adult children, one of whom is keen for her to move out of her home into a ‘home’. Margery is not keen at all. When her care worker’s mother is moved in, Margery takes action which involves taking to the roof of a hotel. A darkly comic meditation on family, aging, generational injustice and property development.
