An otherworldly odor wafts through the porches and thin walls of Nicklesworth as only a grim mortician named Pyridine, her pickle-chewing husband Otis, and outlaw-roping daughter Orphie suspect someone dropped a bomb in the town's outhouse. In an already tense environment, the townsfolk hear the news and run in fear. While looking yonder, Pyridine Goodbye sees what initially appears to be a green fog - but what carries with it is a whopper of a smell! After sending her husband Otis to investigate, Pyridine informs her daughter Orphie, the town sheriff, but receives scorn. Even the night soil remover, the person doomed to clean outhouses, is skeptical. All that changes when the townsfolk start choking and are replaced by evil alien doppelgangers! No, not really; it was just the doings of Rusty Potts, who reacted terribly to Ol' Man's Pinkenpinch's chili. But rest assured, this 14th collection of comics by Lorin Morgan-Richards packs a wallop!
