Only a few months have passed since psychologist, Dr. Alexandra Aguilar, nearly died at the hands of Bobby Benson, Jr. a serial rapist and killer. Alex’s friend, Manny Castillo, the Lead Homicide Detective of the Newbury Police Department, and his partner, Deshawn Freeman, barely made it in time to save Alex from meeting the same fate as Bobby’s previous victims. Now, even with Alex’s extensive psychological background, struggles with resuming life as it was before the traumatic event. Manny and Deshawn are thrown back into the daily routine of detective work, while Alex tries to return to counseling her patients on a regular basis.
