The Structured Clinical Interview for DSM-5, Clinician Version (SCID-S-CV), is a semistructured interview for making the DSM-S diagnoses. It is administered by a clinician or trained mental health professional who is familiar with the DSM-S classification and diagnostic criteria. The SClD-S-CV, available in sets of five, is a one-time-use, semistructured interview with a diagnostic summary score sheet and overview of patient history. A unique and valuable tool, the SCID-5 is used to assess and record DSM-5 diagnostic decisions. It will guide the clinician step-by-step through diagnostic decisions using the DSM-5 criteria, which are included in abridged format.
