Over the years, a myriad of authors have put forth writings which describe major Biblical events as well as depict key characters of the Bible with a major focus upon their pursuit of and love for God as their Holy Father. However, never before have these events or key characters been portrayed from the eyes, hearts, and spirits of the animals in the Bible as they watched these events evolve and the specific thoughts, words, and actions of these individuals. "The Storyteller" takes us from the purity and innocence of those days in the Garden prior to the fall through some of the multitude of conflicts that soon engulfed humanity. The beauty and tenderness of a common language fully understood by all animals along with the lamb walking along side the lion as beloved friends quickly converts to an inability to communicate along with a spirit of fear and anxiety with the strong preying upon the weak - even pursuing these as food for their consumption. The words of the author, Kathy White, paint a picture of such distinct clarity and heartfelt emotion felt by both the animals as well as humans. The heartbreak of the disobedience of Adam and Eve is in particular felt in the emotions and words of the animals. Soon to follow was Abraham to Moses to David and Jonathan all addressed in detail at the once a year meeting of the animals known as "The Renewing". Led by the majestic lion, Judah, this event is that one special time of the year when no longer do language barriers exist and there is also a love which exists between the animals as so desired by the Lord when He created His earth. In starting this book, expect not simply to read a book, but instead to experience a journey that will take you through the hearts, minds, and spirits of both the animals and individuals. You will experience the sense of the mist of the Beast and its horrific battle with David. To feel as if you are inside the minds of Judah, the lion: Abraham; Moses; David; Jonathan; and others will allow you to sense these portions of the Bible in a manner never before described by words in a book. It will be a journey that I pray you truly enjoy.
