Peter Blood, after years of adventuring as a soldier, as how decided to settle in as a physician in the English countryside. Unfortunately a rebellion breaks out. Blood wants nothing to do with the rebellion but decides to assist a wounded fighter. While performing surgery on the rebel, the king’s forces appear and take them all into captivity. As a punishment, Blood is shipped to the Caribbean as a slave. What follows is a a gripping tale of swashbuckling adventure set among historical events.
