“The word Inshalla means “God willing” or “What will be, will be”,” Eskimo Joe frontman Kav Temperley explains. “It's such a musical word when you say it, it sings off the tongue.” Eskimo Joe’s fourth album arrived in 2009 on the back of the massive success of 2006’s Black Fingernails Red Wine. Produced by Gil Norton (Pixies, Foo Fighters, The Triffids), the album debuted at one in the ARIA Album Chart and was certified gold. Inspired by their global travels in the wake of Black Fingernails Red Wine’s success, Inshalla finds Eskimo Joe drawing influence from Egyptian market places through to vibrant New York boroughs. To celebrate the band’s 21 years together, 2018 has seen the West Australian trio reissuing their studio albums on CD and vinyl. Eskimo Joe have accrued seven platinum and two gold album certifications over the course of their career, as well as four top five positions in the ARIA Album Chart. Globally, the trio has sold in excess of 700,000 albums.
