Some months ago I was stunned when I came across the tune ‘Space They cannot Touch’ on JJJ. Few voices of recent times have so completely captured my imagination. Antony and Missy Higgins come to mind for emotional power, clarity and beauty; maybe Kate Bush as well. It transpires that KMH is a promising young Queensland opera and cabaret singer who’s decided to give the old singer-songwriter game a burl too. This debut EP comprises seven songs, all of them wonderful. There are many things I want to say about this, but hark! I see a word limit approaching, and at this price you really should just come in and discover this amazing new performer.
